Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 680 g boneless skinless chicken thighs

→ Spices

02 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
03 - 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 0.5 teaspoon table salt
08 - 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for additional heat)

09 - Non-stick cooking spray
10 - 80 ml barbecue sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Set the air fryer to 190°C and allow it to preheat.
02 - Trim any excess fat from the chicken thighs to ensure even cooking.
03 - Combine paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and cayenne if using. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs.
04 - Coat the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the basket for optimal air flow.
05 - Cook the chicken thighs for 7 minutes, then carefully flip each piece and cook for an additional 7 minutes.
06 - Brush half of the barbecue sauce over one side of the chicken. Flip the pieces and brush the remaining sauce over the other side.
07 - Continue air frying for 2–3 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C.

01 - For optimal results, let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain juices.
