Crispy Air Fryer Dogs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Almond flour, ¾ cup
02 - Mozzarella cheese, shredded, 2 cups

→ Hot Dog Supplies

03 - 12 small wooden skewers
04 - 6 hot dogs or pork frankfurters, halved

# Instructions:

01 - In a small pot over low heat, toss together the almond flour and shredded mozzarella. Stir nonstop for about 5 minutes until the mix turns into a sticky dough. Let the dough sit for a moment to cool.
02 - Carefully push a wooden skewer or stick into each halved hot dog.
03 - Take a tablespoon of dough, flatten it with your fingers, and tightly wrap it around a hot dog, pressing to make sure it sticks firmly.
04 - Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit your air fryer. Lay out some of the wrapped hot dogs in the basket, but don’t overcrowd.
05 - Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 5–8 minutes or until the outer layer turns golden and crisp.
06 - Serve up the crispy corn dogs, pairing them with sugar-free ketchup or mustard on the side.

01 - Low-carb fathead dough combines almond flour and mozzarella for a unique base.
02 - If your air fryer is small, cook the corn dogs in more than one round.
