Easy Air Fryer Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Lemon slices to squeeze over the top (optional)
02 - A handful of freshly chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 2 tablespoons of avocado oil
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1 pound of peeled and cleaned jumbo shrimp
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a medium bowl and combine the avocado oil, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir it all together until it's nice and smooth—this is your shrimp's flavor booster.
02 - Toss the shrimp into the bowl of seasonings, and give everything a gentle stir. Make sure each piece gets nicely coated. Sit tight for 10 minutes so the flavors really soak in.
03 - While your shrimp are marinating, switch on the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it warm up for a few minutes—it'll be hot and ready for cooking.
04 - Lay the shrimp in the fryer basket in one layer—give them some breathing space so they'll cook evenly and crisp up instead of steaming.
05 - Send the shrimp into the fryer for 5-6 minutes. About halfway through, jiggle the basket around a bit to help everything cook equally. They’re done once they turn a blush pink and are firm to the touch.
06 - Move the shrimp onto a serving plate. Want extra zest? Squeeze some fresh lemon juice on top, and sprinkle with parsley for a fresh finish.

# Notes:

01 - If your shrimp are frozen, be sure they’re thawed completely before mixing with the seasonings.
02 - Keep an eye on the shrimp—they should turn a soft pink and curl slightly when they're ready. Don’t leave them in too long or they’ll toughen up.
03 - Feel free to tweak the seasoning levels based on your personal preferences.
04 - Avocado oil is great here, but you can swap it for melted butter or coconut oil if you’d like.
05 - Coat the shrimp well in oil so they don’t stick. You can also lightly spray the air fryer basket to avoid issues.
06 - No air fryer? No problem. Bake these in a 425°F (220°C) oven for 8-10 minutes instead.
