Crispy Air Fryer Apple Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Apple fries mix

01 - 3 big apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and cut into wedges
02 - 1/2 cup (60 g) plain flour
03 - 2 eggs
04 - 1 cup (100 g) panko or regular breadcrumbs
05 - 1/4 cup (50 g) white sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

→ Dip choices

07 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) vanilla yogurt or caramel sauce
08 - Dash of cinnamon (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the apples, take out the cores, and slice them into wedges. Use paper towels to dry off any extra juice so the coating sticks well.
02 - Get three flat dishes or bowls. One gets the flour, whisk the eggs in the second until smooth, and for the third, mix the breadcrumbs, cinnamon, and sugar together for the topping.
03 - Take a slice of apple, give it a thin coat of flour, then roll it around in the egg until it’s covered, and finally press it into the breadcrumbs until it’s coated completely. Do this for each slice and set them aside.
04 - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Finish coating the rest of your apples while it warms up.
05 - Put the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Keep some space between them so they crisp up. You might need to cook in batches. Air fry them for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway, until they’re perfectly crispy and golden on the outside.
06 - Serve warm with a bowl of vanilla yogurt or caramel sauce for dipping. You can sprinkle on more cinnamon if you’re feeling extra fancy.

# Notes:

01 - These crispy apple fries are a fun take on dessert. They’re crunchy outside, soft inside!
02 - Granny Smith apples are perfect if you love a tart flavor, and Honeycrisp works for those who want more sweetness.
03 - Don’t like it too sweet? Cut back on the sugar in the breadcrumb mix, or skip it altogether!
