Baked Brie Garlic Herbs Appetizer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cheese

01 - 1 wheel Brie cheese, approximately 250 g

→ Pastry

02 - 1 sheet flaky puff pastry, thawed

→ Aromatics

03 - 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

→ Herbs

04 - 1 tablespoon mixed fresh herbs such as thyme, rosemary, parsley, sage, or oregano, finely chopped

→ Garnish

05 - 2 teaspoons honey
06 - Crackers or sliced baguette, to serve
07 - Sliced apples or pears, optional, to serve

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and set the Brie wheel in the centre.
02 - Sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped fresh herbs evenly over the top of the Brie.
03 - Fold the puff pastry up and around the Brie, trimming excess pastry and pressing edges to seal. Ensure the Brie is fully enclosed.
04 - Place the wrapped Brie seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
05 - Allow the baked Brie to cool for 5 minutes to help the cheese set slightly. Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with honey, and serve with crackers, sliced baguette, and optionally sliced apples or pears.

# Notes:

01 - Thaw frozen puff pastry in the refrigerator for best handling and a crisp, even bake.
02 - Experiment with different herb combinations to complement the cheese and enhance aromatics.
