Brown the beef in a skillet over medium heat. Once done, drain off the excess grease.

Mix together the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Place half of the potato slices in the slow cooker. Pour the cheddar cheese soup over them and stir to coat evenly.

On top of the potatoes, add half the onion slices, seasoning mix, cooked beef, and shredded cheese.

Repeat by adding the rest of the potatoes, onions, seasoning, ground beef, and cheese in that order.

Drizzle the beef broth evenly over everything in the cooker.

Put the lid on the slow cooker and let it cook for 4 hours on high until the potato slices are soft.
