Fiery Cajun Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 large jalapeños, split lengthwise and deseeded
02 - 8 oz cream cheese, brought to room temp
03 - 1/2 cup cheddar, shredded finely
04 - 1/2 cup shrimp, chopped small and cooked
05 - 1 tsp Cajun spice blend
06 - 1/4 tsp paprika (smoked)
07 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
08 - 1/4 tsp salt (adjust how you like)
09 - 2 tbsp melted butter (optional, for crumbs)
10 - 1/4 cup optional breadcrumbs
11 - Chopped parsley or green onions, optional for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and put parchment over a baking sheet.
02 - In a bowl, stir together cream cheese, cheddar, shrimp, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until combined.
03 - Spoon the cheese mix into each jalapeño half, leveling it off on the top.
04 - If you're using breadcrumbs, mix them with melted butter and sprinkle over jalapeños.
05 - Pop them in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese bubbles and gets golden on top.
06 - Scatter parsley or green onions over the top and enjoy them right away.

# Notes:

01 - Want less heat? Briefly boil the jalapeños before filling.
02 - Change it up with vegetarian substitutes or wrap them in bacon!
