Strawberry Cheesecake Fried Sandwiches (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sandwiches

01 - 1 cup strawberries, diced
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
03 - 1 cup softened cream cheese
04 - 8 slices of bread
05 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar

→ Coating

06 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
07 - 1/2 cup milk
08 - Oil for frying
09 - 2 large eggs

→ Serving (Optional)

10 - Chocolate sauce for drizzling
11 - Powdered sugar for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Blend the softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar in a bowl until it's smooth. Carefully stir the diced strawberries into the mixture so the pieces are spread throughout.
02 - Generously spread the strawberry cream filling on four slices of bread. Place another slice of bread on top of each to make four sandwiches, pressing down gently so they stay together.
03 - In a shallow dish, beat the eggs and milk until mixed well. Use another dish for the breadcrumbs, spreading them out evenly.
04 - Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides thoroughly. Next, press the sandwiches into the breadcrumbs, making sure all sides are evenly covered.
05 - Heat oil in a big frying pan over medium heat. Fry each sandwich for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they're golden and crispy. Let them drain on paper towels to remove extra oil.
06 - Serve while still hot. You can dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce for an extra sweet touch.

# Notes:

01 - Brioche or challah bread works great, but any type of bread will do.
02 - Soften the cream cheese beforehand to get a smooth consistency.
03 - Fresh strawberries work best, but thawed frozen ones can be used.
