01 - 8 oz softened cream cheese
02 - 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
03 - 6 slices crispy bacon, broken into bits
04 - 1 tbsp dry ranch mix (if you want)
05 - 1 tsp powdered garlic
06 - 1 tbsp snipped chives or scallions

→ For the Chips

07 - 1 big packet Doritos (any flavor you like - Nacho, Ranch, whatever)
08 - 1 cup regular flour
09 - 2 big eggs, whisked up
10 - 1 ½ cups crunchy panko crumbs

→ For Frying

11 - Veggie or canola oil for deep frying

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the cream cheese, grated cheddar, bacon bits, dry ranch mix (if you're using it), powdered garlic, and snipped chives into a bowl. Stir everything until it's all smooth and mixed up good.
02 - Find matching Dorito chips that look about the same size. Smear some of your cheese mix onto one chip, then squish another chip on top like a tiny sandwich. Keep going till you've used up your stuff.
03 - Put out three separate bowls - flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and those panko crumbs in the last one.
04 - Roll each Dorito sandwich in the flour first, then dunk it in egg, and finally roll it around in the panko until it's totally covered.
05 - Pour about 2 inches of oil in a deep pan and heat it to 175°C. Drop your coated Doritos in small batches and cook for about 1-2 minutes each side until they turn nice and golden.
06 - Lift the fried Doritos out with a draining spoon and let them dry on some paper towels. They're best eaten hot with some dips like ranch, sour cream, or spicy cheese sauce.

# Notes:

01 - You can get these ready through the coating step and keep them in the fridge for up to 2 hours before you fry them.
