Cheesy Croissant Pepperoni Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 pack ready-to-use croissant dough

→ Filling

02 - 6 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 3 ounces sliced pepperoni

→ Seasoning

04 - 2 tablespoons melted butter
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and put parchment paper on a baking tray or coat it with a bit of oil.
02 - Take the croissant dough from its wrapper and pull apart the triangles where they're scored.
03 - Dump your shredded mozzarella into a little bowl and put it aside for now.
04 - Chop your pepperoni slices in two so they'll fit better on your dough triangles.
05 - Heat butter till it's liquid, then mix in the garlic powder, oregano, and basil until everything's blended together.
06 - Use a brush to coat each dough triangle with your herby butter mix.
07 - Put some pepperoni pieces on the wide end of each triangle.
08 - Add a big spoonful of mozzarella on top of the pepperoni.
09 - Start at the wide end and roll each triangle toward the pointy tip, making sure to keep the fillings tucked inside.
10 - Place your rolled croissants on the tray with gaps between them so they can grow while baking.
11 - Brush whatever butter mix you've got left on top of the rolls to make them tastier and more golden.
12 - Stick them in the hot oven for 12-15 minutes until they're golden and the cheese is all melty.
13 - Take them out and wait a couple minutes before you eat them.
14 - They're best eaten warm as a snack or starter.

# Notes:

01 - You can bake these on a wire rack instead of a tray if you want them extra crunchy.
02 - Try swapping pepperoni for ham or salami to switch up the flavor.
03 - Sprinkle some Parmesan on top before cooking for extra taste.
04 - Throw in some red pepper flakes if you want them spicy.
05 - Don't eat meat? Just use veggies like spinach or mushrooms instead of pepperoni.
