Stuffed Philly Cheesesteak Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 450g of pizza dough, homemade or from the store

→ Filling

02 - 225g of beef, sliced thin (ribeye or flank steak works well)
03 - 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced thin
04 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced thin
06 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1 small onion, cut into thin slices
08 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Cheese

11 - 50g provolone cheese, shredded
12 - 25g Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
13 - 150g mozzarella cheese, shredded

→ Topping

14 - 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
15 - 2 tablespoons of melted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Warm olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the beef slices for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they're no longer pink. Take the beef out and set aside.
02 - Using the same pan, cook the onions and bell peppers for around 5 minutes, just until they soften up.
03 - Put the beef back into the pan. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir it together for 1-2 minutes, then remove it from the heat and let it cool for a bit.
04 - Set your oven to 190°C and get a baking sheet ready by lining it with parchment or lightly greasing it.
05 - Spread the pizza dough out into a rectangle about 25×35 cm in size. Cut it up into 8 even strips.
06 - Spoon some of the beef mixture onto the middle of each dough strip. Add plenty of mozzarella and provolone cheese on top.
07 - Fold the dough over to cover the filling and pinch the seams to close it up. Roll each breadstick lightly so they hold together, keeping the seam on the bottom.
08 - Lay the breadsticks out on the baking sheet. Brush them with melted butter, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, and add a bit of Parmesan if you’d like.
09 - Pop them in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.
10 - Let them cool just a little before serving. They're great warm with marinara, ranch, or a cheesy dip.

# Notes:

01 - These are best enjoyed fresh, so the cheese stays gooey and the breadsticks have a nice crunch.
02 - Prep the filling ahead of time if you want, then just assemble when you're ready to bake.
