Cheesy Spinach Pastry Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 piece puff pastry, defrosted
02 - 1 egg, whisked (for coating

03 - 8 oz soft cream cheese, room temperature
04 - 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
05 - 1 tsp powdered garlic
06 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot at 400°F. Put some parchment on a cookie sheet.
02 - Grab a bowl and stir together the soft cream cheese, spinach bits, garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper until everything's mixed well.
03 - Take your defrosted pastry and slice it into even squares. Drop a big dollop of your cheese mix right in the middle of each square.
04 - Take each square and fold it diagonally to make triangles. Push down the edges with a fork to keep the filling inside.
05 - Brush some beaten egg on top of your triangles and stick them in the oven for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
06 - Pull them out when done and enjoy them hot as a fancy little snack or starter.

# Notes:

01 - You can toss in some different herbs or spices to make the filling taste even better.
02 - You can make these early and freeze them - just cook them a bit longer straight from the freezer.
