Creamy Chicken Rice Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 3 cups shredded chicken
02 - 3 cups cooked rice

→ Creamy Mixture

03 - 1 teaspoon minced onion
04 - 1 can cream of chicken soup
05 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
06 - 1 cup cottage cheese, divided
07 - 1 cup cream cheese, divided

→ Topping

08 - 3 tablespoons melted butter
09 - 20-25 Ritz crackers, crushed
10 - Optional garlic powder and dried herbs

# Instructions:

01 - Combine half the cheeses with rice. In a separate bowl, mix the chicken with soup, seasonings, and the other half of the cheeses.
02 - Put the rice mixture in the bottom of the dish, then add the chicken mixture on top.
03 - Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes in a 355°F oven.
04 - Stir butter into crushed crackers, spread it out over everything, and bake another 5 minutes for a crispy finish.
