Crispy Feta Honey Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 8 ounces of feta cheese, sliced into log shapes
02 - 1/4 cup of butter, melted
03 - 1 box of phyllo dough, fully thawed

→ Spicy Honey Topping

04 - 1 tablespoon of crushed chili flakes
05 - 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar
06 - 1/2 cup of honey

→ Optional Finish

07 - Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Spread a single phyllo sheet on a clean counter, brush it with melted butter, and layer another sheet on top. Repeat until you've got 4 stacked sheets.
03 - Cut the sheet stack into strips around 3 inches wide. At the end of each strip, place a piece of feta cheese.
04 - Roll the feta inside the phyllo strip, folding in the edges to close it up. Lay each roll on your lined tray, with the seam facing down.
05 - Coat each roll lightly on the outside with melted butter. Pop them into the oven for 20–25 minutes, or until nice and crispy with a golden color.
06 - Heat up honey gently in a small pan on low. Stir in the chili flakes and cider vinegar until combined.
07 - Pour the spiced honey over the hot rolls and, if you'd like, sprinkle with parsley. Serve while warm.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra texture boost, sprinkle poppy seeds or sesame seeds on the rolls before baking.
02 - Use smoked paprika as a swap for chili flakes if you want a milder heat.
03 - Pair these rolls with a fresh salad or a basket of crispy bread with olive oil.
