02 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
03 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
04 - 1 tsp salt
05 - 1 tsp ground cumin

→ Flavor Boosters & Sauce

06 - 1 cup beef stock
07 - 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
08 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
09 - 1 large onion, cut in slices
10 - 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
11 - 1 tbsp brown sugar

→ To Serve

12 - Pickles (as needed)
13 - Coleslaw (optional)
14 - 6-8 burger buns
15 - Onion slices (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Season your beef with salt, cumin, paprika, and black pepper. Make sure it’s coated everywhere using your hands or a spoon.
02 - Lay the onion slices and garlic into your slow cooker or Dutch oven. Place the spiced-up beef on top for maximum flavor.
03 - Pour in your Worcestershire sauce, stock, BBQ sauce, and sprinkle the brown sugar over the beef. These will seep into the meat, making it super flavorful.
04 - Slow cook on low for 8-10 hours, or bake in a Dutch oven at 300°F (150°C) for 4-5 hours. You’ll know the beef is done when it easily falls apart with a fork.
05 - Take out the cooked beef and shred it using two forks. Toss the shredded meat back into the pot and stir it to soak up all the delicious sauce.
06 - Lightly toast your buns if you like them crispy. Load them up with the shredded beef, then add pickles, coleslaw, or onions before popping the top bun on.

# Notes:

01 - You can refrigerate cooked beef for 3 days or freeze it tight for 3 months.
02 - Try adding hot sauce or red chili flakes to the sauce for some extra heat.
03 - This dish freezes well, but make sure to use airtight containers.
