Effortless Cinnamon Twists (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 beaten egg (use as a wash)
02 - 1 puff pastry sheet, defrosted
03 - 60g melted unsalted butter
04 - 50g sugar (granulated)
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
06 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon spice

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 200°C (400°F) and let it heat up.
02 - On a floured countertop, spread out the thawed pastry and even it out with a rolling pin.
03 - Coat the surface of the pastry with melted butter. Sprinkle with a mix of cinnamon and sugar, making sure it's spread all over.
04 - Slice the pastry into strips about 2.5cm (1-inch) wide. Roll each strip into a twist and put them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
05 - Brush egg wash over the twisted pastry so it'll bake with a golden, shiny look.
06 - Pop the tray into the oven for 15-20 minutes until puffy and golden brown. Let them cool just a little before eating.

# Notes:

01 - The twists are tastiest when served warm but can be kept in a sealed container for a couple of days.
