Easy Parmesan Chicken Tenderloins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 450 g chicken tenderloins

→ Seasonings

02 - Salt
03 - Black pepper
04 - Garlic powder

→ Breading Mixture

05 - 1 egg
06 - 15 ml milk
07 - 60 g breadcrumbs
08 - 50 g grated Parmesan cheese

→ Topping

09 - 120 ml marinara sauce, plus extra for serving
10 - 4 slices mozzarella cheese, halved
11 - Fresh or dried parsley for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C.
02 - Pat chicken tenderloins dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - In a bowl, beat egg with milk. In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
04 - Dip each tenderloin first into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then coat in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.
05 - Place breaded tenderloins on a baking sheet coated with non-stick cooking spray.
06 - Lightly spray the tops with olive oil or avocado oil spray. Bake for 8 minutes, then turn pieces over and bake for 5 minutes more.
07 - Remove from the oven. Spoon a portion of marinara sauce over each tenderloin and top with half a mozzarella slice.
08 - Return to oven for 2–3 minutes until cheese has melted.
09 - Garnish with parsley and serve with additional marinara sauce if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For even crispier chicken, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
