Pear Goat Cheese Toast Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crostini Base

01 - 1 baguette, cut into ½-inch rounds
02 - 2–3 tablespoons olive oil

→ Topping

03 - 2 juicy pears, sliced thin
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
06 - ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
07 - 115 g goat cheese, room temperature
08 - 1 tablespoon honey, with extra for topping
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary
10 - ¼ cup nuts, chopped (if you want)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 190°C. Put the baguette slices on a baking tray and brush some olive oil on each piece. Bake them for 8–10 minutes until they're golden and crunchy. Let them cool down after.
02 - Put your skillet on medium heat and melt the butter. Mix in brown sugar and cinnamon until everything's mixed well. Throw in the pear slices and cook about 3–4 minutes on each side until they're soft and sweet. Take them off the heat to cool a bit.
03 - Smear some goat cheese on each crunchy bread slice. Add a couple caramelized pear pieces on top of the cheese.
04 - Pour a little honey over the pears. Sprinkle with the rosemary and toss on some chopped nuts if you want extra crunch and flavor.
05 - Put them all on a serving plate and enjoy right away.

# Notes:

01 - Cheese Options: Mascarpone or ricotta work great for a softer taste.
02 - Switch Up Herbs: Try thyme or sage instead of rosemary for different flavors.
03 - Plan Ahead: You can toast the bread and cook the pears earlier, just put everything together when you're ready to serve.
