Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion, green bell pepper, ground beef, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are softened and beef is browned.

While the beef mixture cooks, slice hoagie rolls in half lengthwise or divide baguette into four pieces and slice each in half. Arrange cut sides up on a baking sheet.

Once the beef mixture is fully cooked, stir in Worcestershire sauce. Layer half the provolone slices over the beef mixture, reduce heat to low, and allow cheese to melt. Stir gently to combine.

Using tongs, evenly distribute the beef and cheese filling onto the prepared rolls.

Top each sandwich with the remaining provolone slices. Bake in the preheated oven for 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly and the rolls are lightly toasted. Serve immediately.
