Cheesy Italian Burger Fusion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20 mix)
02 - 1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
03 - 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic
04 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 4 hamburger buns, toasted after splitting
07 - 1/2 cup sauce for pizza
08 - 1 cup grated mozzarella
09 - 16-24 pepperoni slices

# Instructions:

01 - Combine beef, Italian herbs, powdered garlic, salt, and pepper in a big bowl until everything's mixed well. Form 4 even patties and let them sit for a bit.
02 - Fire up your grill or pan and turn on the broiler to medium-high. Put the buns face-up on a baking sheet and toast till they're golden. Take the top parts off and put them aside.
03 - Cook each patty about 4-5 minutes on both sides.
04 - While your patties cook, warm up the pizza sauce in a small pot over low heat, giving it a stir now and then. Spread some sauce on the bottom buns, add half the cheese and some pepperoni. Stick under the broiler for 2-3 minutes till the cheese melts.
05 - Put your cooked patties on the bottom buns and add the rest of your sauce, cheese, and pepperoni on top. Broil until everything's melty, then cap with the top buns.
