Pears with Berries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 juicy pears, sliced in half and with cores removed
02 - 1 tablespoon melted butter
03 - ½ cup fresh mixed berries like raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries
04 - ½ cup roughly chopped walnuts
05 - ¼ cup of blue cheese crumbles
06 - 2 tablespoons of honey for drizzling
07 - Optional: sprigs of fresh thyme to decorate

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking tray by greasing it lightly or adding parchment paper.
02 - Lay the pear halves flat on the baking tray with their cut sides facing upward. Use a brush to coat the tops with melted butter for a nice golden look.
03 - Let the pears bake for about 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye on them until they're soft but not falling apart. Once done, take them out and let them cool down a bit.
04 - Spread the fresh berries evenly over the pears, then sprinkle blue cheese crumbles on top. The leftover heat will gently melt the cheese.
05 - Toss the walnuts on top of the pears, then finish by drizzling them with honey for sweetness and crunch.
06 - Add thyme sprigs if you like a herby accent. Serve them warm or let them cool to room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - You can replace blue cheese with goat cheese or a plant-based alternative if needed.
02 - Swap walnuts for pumpkin or sunflower seeds to avoid nuts.
03 - Goes great with yogurt, a cup of tea, or even some wine.
