Smashed Crispy Broccoli (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Florets chopped from 1 head of broccoli
02 - Grated parmesan cheese, 60 g
03 - Serve with a lemon wedge
04 - Your favorite dipping sauce

→ Pantry staples

05 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
06 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
07 - Smoked paprika, ½ teaspoon
08 - Cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon
09 - Salt and black pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat at 370°F (190°C). Steam the broccoli florets for about 5-6 minutes, just until a fork pierces them easily.
02 - On a tray lined with parchment paper, arrange the steamed broccoli. Use a sturdy glass to flatten the florets to a thickness of roughly 1 cm.
03 - Combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat the broccoli using a brush, and sprinkle lots of parmesan on top.
04 - Pop the tray in the oven for roughly 12-15 minutes until the parmesan turns golden and crispy.
05 - Pull the broccoli off the parchment and get it on plates. Add a lemon squeeze and pair it with your go-to dip.

# Notes:

01 - Give the parchment a light coat of oil spray so nothing sticks.
02 - Steaming the broccoli for too long can mess up the crispiness.
03 - Leave space between broccoli pieces to keep them from steaming and to make them crunchier.
