Soft Garlic Breadsticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 4 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110°F)
03 - 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
04 - 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
05 - 1 tablespoon salt
06 - 2 tablespoons sugar

→ Garlic Butter Topping

07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the warm water with sugar and yeast. Sit for 5-10 minutes until it’s bubbly.
02 - Stir the flour, salt, and softened butter together. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead for 8-10 minutes until the dough's smooth.
03 - Grease a bowl, pop in the dough, and cover it up. Let it sit for an hour until it doubles in size.
04 - Cut into 12-14 chunks, roll into ropes around 6-7 inches long. Leave them to rest for 20-30 minutes to puff up.
05 - Bake ropes at 400°F for 12-15 minutes. Brush the tops with the garlic butter when they’re fresh from the oven.
