Greek Spinach Patties (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced and scrubbed clean

→ Seasonings

03 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon salt

→ Toppings

07 - ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
08 - 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
09 - ¼ cup diced tomatoes
10 - ¼ cup green onions, chopped
11 - ¼ cup fresh cilantro, minced (optional)
12 - ½ cup sour cream
13 - 1 jalapeño, sliced into thin rounds

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and place parchment paper on a baking sheet. This keeps the potatoes from sticking and makes cleanup super easy.
02 - Put the potato slices in a big bowl and drizzle the olive oil over them. Stir them up to coat evenly. Sprinkle the garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt on top. Mix until the seasonings cover all the slices.
03 - Lay out the seasoned potatoes on the baking sheet. Give them space so they don't overlap. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through. They should turn crispy and golden on both sides.
04 - Pull the crispy potatoes out of the oven and sprinkle cheddar cheese and bacon bits evenly over them. Pop it back into the oven for 5 more minutes or until the cheese melts completely.
05 - Move the cheesy potatoes to a serving plate. While they're hot, toss on the jalapeños, green onions, tomatoes, sour cream, and a little cilantro if you want.
06 - You want to dive into these right away while they're hot and gooey. Share with your crew or enjoy solo—they're irresistible!

# Notes:

01 - Transform basic potatoes into an irresistible snack that's a fun twist on traditional nachos.
02 - Great choice for parties, game nights, or whenever you need a filling, crowd-pleasing treat.
03 - To make the potatoes extra crunchy, soak the slices in cold water for 30 minutes. Dry them well before seasoning.
04 - Mix it up by adding toppings you love. Black beans, corn, or guacamole would be awesome touches.
