Steak Bites Gnocchi Meal (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak & Marinade

01 - 1 pound diced beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into small bite-sized chunks
02 - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
03 - 1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
04 - 1 tablespoon tangy Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
06 - 1 teaspoon dried onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon dried garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon regular salt
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

→ Gnocchi

10 - 2 pounds packaged dry gnocchi
11 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped
13 - 1/4 cup grated fresh parmesan (optional, for topping)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut beef into small chunks, cutting away any fatty bits or tough parts. Toss beef pieces into a ziplock bag or flat container. Mix in lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together, close up, and chill in fridge anywhere from 1 to 8 hours.
02 - Fill a big pot with water and bring it to a full boil. Drop in gnocchi and cook following the box instructions, then strain and put aside.
03 - Get a big skillet really hot over medium-high flame. Grab half the beef with tongs, leaving the liquid behind, and drop it in the pan. Stir now and then until beef gets nice and brown on all sides. Take it out, set it aside, and do the same with the rest of the beef. Put all cooked beef back in the pan.
04 - Throw butter and chopped garlic into the pan with your beef. Let the garlic cook for about a minute. Add your gnocchi and cook everything together for 3 to 5 minutes until gnocchi starts to brown a bit.
05 - Scoop onto plates while hot and sprinkle some fresh Parmesan on top if you want.

# Notes:

01 - You'll get the tastiest results if you let the beef soak in the marinade for at least an hour so the flavors can really sink in.
