Effortless Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Graham Cracker Base

01 - 1/4 cup melted butter (unsalted)
02 - 1 full pack graham crackers, crushed (1 1/4 cups)
03 - Packed brown sugar, 1/8 cup

→ Cheesecake Filling

04 - Softened cream cheese, 16 ounces
05 - 1/4 cup sour cream, softened
06 - Granulated sugar, 1/2 cup
07 - 1/8 cup heavy cream, room temperature
08 - 2 eggs, large and room temperature
09 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Topping Layer

10 - 3/4 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet
11 - 1 large egg, at room temperature
12 - White sugar, 1/8 cup
13 - 1/3 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
14 - Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
15 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
16 - Butter, room temp (1/3 cup unsalted)
17 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Combine cracker crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Press mixture firmly into lined pan (9x9 size). Bake for 10 minutes at 325°F.
02 - Whip the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and airy. Add in sour cream, vanilla, eggs, and heavy cream. Pour this over the cooled crust.
03 - Beat together the butter and both sugars. Mix in vanilla and egg. Add flour, salt, and chocolate chips. Lay chunks of dough evenly over the cheesecake mixture.
04 - Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, stopping when the edges are set but the center jiggles slightly. Let it cool fully, then chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours or all night.
