Cookie Energy Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 1 ½ cups mini m&m's
02 - 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
03 - 1 cup smooth peanut butter (avoid natural types)
04 - 1/2 cup honey
05 - 2 ½ cups quick-cooking oats
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

# Instructions:

01 - Dump everything into a large bowl, then stir well using either a spoon or hand mixer. A hand mixer works best for even mixing.
02 - Take small scoops from the mix, roll them into ping-pong-sized balls, and place them onto a plastic container or flat plate.
03 - If you'd like, pop the balls into the fridge for half an hour to an hour until they're firmer. Or eat them straight away—it’s up to you.
04 - To keep them at their best, store these treats in a sealed container in the fridge.

# Notes:

01 - Quick oats are the glue that holds everything together. They work a lot like flour does in cookie dough.
02 - Natural peanut butter won’t give you the right texture—there’s not enough oil, so your mixture will probably fall apart.
03 - Using tiny chocolate chips and M&M’s works better since their small size mixes in evenly and binds well.
