Honey Peanut Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 cups of plain Cheerios
02 - 1/2 cup of honey
03 - 1/2 cup of peanut butter
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Scoop the honey and peanut butter into a big microwave-safe bowl, then heat it on high for 1 minute. Take it out and stir until they're completely blended together.
02 - Pop the bowl back into the microwave for another 30-45 seconds, making sure the mixture is hot enough to do its job.
03 - Pour the vanilla extract into the hot mixture and give it a good stir so everything’s mixed well.
04 - Dump the Cheerios into the bowl and gently fold them in. Keep stirring so every piece gets coated with the sweet mix.
05 - Spoon out portions onto a baking sheet covered with parchment or place them in cupcake liners. There's no need to bake them!
06 - Leave the bites at room temperature so they can cool and harden. They’ll be ready to handle in about 30 minutes, but if you wait a little longer, they’ll get even better.

# Notes:

01 - You’ll need the honey to reach boiling for the treats to hold together. Make sure not to overcook it.
02 - If you’d rather skip the microwave, you can heat the mixture on the stove over medium-low. Stir continuously and let it gently simmer for 2 minutes.
