Lightly coat your cupcake pans with grease, then set them to the side.

Put the butter and marshmallows into a microwave-friendly bowl. Heat for around 2 minutes, keeping an eye out to stop any bubbling over.

Blend your melted butter and marshmallows together, then fold in the puffed rice cereal until it's well-mixed.

Scoop spoonfuls of the mix into the oiled cupcake pans and use wax paper to press them into nest shapes.

Leave the made nests alone for about 30 minutes to fully firm up.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter with milk, vanilla, and 2 cups of powdered sugar until creamy, about 5 minutes. Slowly add the food coloring and the rest of the sugar, stirring until smooth.

Use a piping bag to swirl green frosting onto the nests, then add the candy eggs on top.
