Mushroom Swiss Burger (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Mushroom Mix

01 - 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
02 - 1 small onion, into thin slices
03 - 1 minced garlic clove
04 - 2 tablespoons butter
05 - A tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - Season with salt and black pepper as needed

→ Beef Patties

07 - 1 pound of ground beef, 80/20 blend
08 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon steak spice blend

→ Assembly Toppings

10 - 4 hamburger buns
11 - 4 slices of Swiss cheese
12 - Extras: tomato slices, mayo, mustard, lettuce (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter in a skillet, cooking onions and mushrooms for 8-10 minutes. Toss in garlic and Worcestershire for just about a minute more.
02 - Combine all beef patty seasonings, form into 4 equal portions.
03 - Grill or fry patties for 3-5 minutes each side. In the last minute, top with cheese and cover to melt.
04 - Toast the buns, then layer the burger, melted cheese, mushroom topping, and any additional condiments.

# Notes:

01 - Potato or brioche buns work really well for this.
